Scratch CardScratch Card is a very useful and widely used recharge medium. Through scratch cards any customer can recharge his/her mobile number, both Prepaid and Postpaid, at any point of time and anywhere. Even in odd business hour, bad weather and political turmoil in the country, anybody can easily use the scratch card for emergency account refill. Moreover it's widely available all over Bangladesh irrespective of geographic location such as rural, urban, sub-urban areas. Customer can purchase different denominations of scratch cards even from local stationary shops.
At present Grameenphone provides 4 (four) denominations of recharge based scratch cards, e.g. 10Tk, 20Tk, 50Tk & 100Tk. Recently GP has introduced a different type of scratch card which can be used for specific Internet package activation. This scratch card is named as 15Tk Internet Scratch Card.
Process
Prepaid Recharge
Regular Scratch Cards
Customer will gently scratch the scratch panel and reveal the 15 or 16 digit* Hidden Recharge Number (HRN).
Customer will dial *555*Hidden Number# to recharge.
Customer will get a USSD notification for every successful recharge "Your account recharge is successful! Your account balance is XX.XX BDT and it will be valid until DD/MM/YY".
If any customer tries to reuse any voucher through this service, customer will get a USSD notification "This voucher has already been used."
If any customer tries any wrong voucher/hidden number through this service, customer will get a USSD notification "Wrong activation number. Please enter correct number."
After 3 (Three) consecutive wrong attempts, prepaid number's account refill will be barred for 3 (three) hours. If any customer tries to recharge again the USSD response will show: "You are BARRED from this service."
After 3 (three) hours, the recharge bar will be automatically revoked from the system.
For obtaining any type of customer service, e.g. availability check customer needs to mention the unique 15 digit card serial, which is provided under the barcode pattern at the back side (scratch panel side).
Internet Scratch Card
Customer will scratch the scratch panel and reveal the Hidden Recharge Number (HRN).
Customer will dial *5000*Hidden Number# to activate 3G 15MB Internet Pack.
Customer will get two separate SMS reply from 5000 Port for every successful activation:
"Internet 3G 15MB Scratch Card has been activated. Enjoy this Internet Package till 12:01 AM, 12 Apr, 2014. After volume expiration, you will be charged as Tk. 0.01/10KB. Internet Package will be deactivated after expiry date."
"After activation/deactivation of any Internet Package, please restart your handset. To check remaining Internet Volume and expiry date dial *500*60# or SMS <VIEW> to 5000 or to check Internet usage dial *500*61# or SMS <USAGE> to 5000."
If any Postpaid customer tries to use Internet 3G 15MB Scratch Card, customer will get an SMS reply from Port 5000: "Dear Customer, INTERNET 3G 15MB SCRATCH CARD is available for pre-paid customers only. Please call 121 for further details."
If customer inputs wrong or used hidden number, SMS reply from 5000 port shows: "Due to technical reasons we cannot process your request at this moment. Please try again later."
For obtaining any type of customer service, e.g. availability check customer needs to mention the unique 15 digit card serial number, which is provided under the barcode pattern at the back side (scratch panel side).
Postpaid Recharge

Press 1 or 2 for language selection
Press 1 for bill information
Press 1 again for bill information
After hearing the Bill, Usage and Payment detail, Press 2
Then follow the process as IVR prompt
That is, please enter the Scratch Card Hidden Recharge Number (HRN)
Then subscriber will get a confirmation SMS from 5666 port within 10 to 15 minutes - "Your bill payment request of TK XX (Transaction id SC_3010140244027734328) has been successful. Please call 12111 to know your latest account information." if the hidden number is appropriate, followed by IVR prompt - "Thank you for your request, please wait for confirmation SMS".
Receive failure SMS from port 5666 if entered scratch card hidden number is used/wrong containing text - "Sorry. Bill payment through scratch card is not possible at this moment. Please try again after 3hrs. Thank you."
SMS Based
SMS to Port 5666 writing <PAY> <Hidden #>.
Then subscriber will get a confirmation SMS within 10 to 15 minutes from 5666 port about the payment if the hidden number is appropriate: "Your bill payment request of TK XX (Transaction id SC_3010140244027734328) has been successful. Please call 12111 to know your latest account information."
Receive failure SMS from port 5666 (if entered scratch card hidden number is used/wrong) containing text - "Sorry. Bill payment through scratch card is not possible at this moment. Please try again after 3hrs. Thank you."
Through USSD
Dial USSD *111*4*1*3#
Type the Scratch Card Hidden Recharge Number (HRN) when screen prompts as "Please enter the Scratch Card Number"
Then press send or dial button
If the entered hidden number is appropriate, subscriber will get a confirmation SMS within 10 to 15 minutes from port 5666 containing text - "Your bill payment request of TK XX (Transaction id SC_3010140244027734328) has been successful. Please call 12111 to know your latest account information." followed by a USSD display text - "Your request is being processed. You will be sent an SMS/desired content shortly."
Receive failure SMS from port 5666, (if entered scratch card hidden number is used/wrong) containing text - "Sorry. Bill payment through scratch card is not possible at this moment. Please try again after 3hrs. Thank you."
NB. Scratch Card denomination 20Tk and higher (i.e. 50Tk & 100Tk) can be used for Postpaid bill or advance payment, but other denomination below 20TK (i.e. 10Tk) is not applicable for Postpaid product.
